If you have elderly relatives at your house who love to share their bowel experiences always and do not feel embarrassed then hands up for you. You may hear a lot from them and generated a basic idea that it is good to poop on a daily basis .But the question is that, is it really?
There are two types of people in the world according to the habit of getting poops out. One who goes on a daily basis once or twice a day at the same time (and in the same toilet if they can do so.) It is more scientific for them than a natural need. And the other one who always wait for nature’s call. They may have a regular or irregular pooping habit from once a day or once in a three day. But the question here is that which one is healthier? And the answer is nothing is harmful until you feel uncomfortable.

Poop is 75 percent of water. According to the researchers, it is made of dead bacteria which helps in food digestion, living bacteria, indigestion fiber and protein, and other waste materials from the intestines and liver.
How often one poops, depend on the individuals. An average person poops single time a day and the waste amount is around one ounce of excrement out of twelve pounds of body weight. This means that if you weight 160 pounds, you most probably produce just under half a pound of poop on a daily basis. Going for poop on daily is believed to be a normal habit but if you do not fall into this category just don’t worry about it. As according to the Dr. anyone who goes three times a day or three times a week is normal until you are not facing any complications. Other than that a medical help must be advisable.

The difference of bowel movement and pooping habit is mainly because of the variety of eating habits. Asians have a more frequent and daily basis bowel movement comparing to the westerns and it mainly for they use more fibers diet in their food items.
Getting your feces out is your body’s way to get rid of waste materials, it has a little to do with toxin removal. For example, you usually go once a day but instead of that if you start going more than that or once in every other day, it is a matter of worrying. But if it happens with some other changes you recently make in your lifestyle then it may be ok. For example, a sudden change in your diet may result in changing your pooping habits.

If your waste material is not so liquefied or tight then there is nothing to worry. It is all normal till it passes smoothly. But when you have to make serious effort to take it out, its time to consult a specialist.
Some women feel irregularity at their menstruation time. It is because of a hormone called Prostaglandins which signal to begin of the shedding of the uterus lining. When some women produce more of this hormones than other, the remaining once try to effect the bowel movement and make it irregular. Consulting a Dr. in this situation is the best thing you can.
There is another hormone called Progesterone, imbalance of which can cause diarrhea. It is because of a low level of progesterone that some women suffers diarrhea at the time of their menstrual period.

Sudden changes in the bowel movement can result from changing the diet or exercise routine. More serously irritable bowel disease or colorectal cancer may be the reason behind. Depression is also a reason of unusual bowel movent. In this kind of situation consult a dr. as soon as possible.
As long as you do not feel any discomfort in your bowel movement there is nothing to worry about. Your digestion process is working all day long 24 hours a day, so little hiccups can be expected. Other than that always take a suggestion from experts if you find anything not so normal.
